We are looking for a Staff Accountant (CPA Student) to join our Assurance & Advisory team in Fall 2027—a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role :
  • Work on a variety of assurance and tax engagements for owner-managed businesses across diverse industries.
  • Prepare compilations, corporate and personal tax returns, and supporting working papers.
  • Assist clients with financial reporting.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses and identify opportunities to
    add value through proactive service.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, team members, and
    partners.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team environment while also managing
    assigned work independently.
  • Participate in special projects and other engagements as assigned by senior staff
    and partners.
What you bring to the table:
  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration(Accounting/Finance major)
  • Eligibility to enroll in CPA PEP
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with basic accounting concepts (balance sheet, income statement, etc.)
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Be a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are an excellent problem solver
  • You are proficient in, and willing to learn various computer applications
  • Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview and Tax Prep is an asset (but not required)
