Position: Safety Branch Information Specialist Role
Enhance public safety with the Government of Nova Scotia as an Information Specialist in Dartmouth. This position involves managing inquiries and providing vital administrative support.

In the role of Information Specialist (Clerk 3 ADM
04) with the Safety Branch, you'll be providing exceptional service to the Department of Labour, Skills, and Immigration. Your responsibilities will include handling the 1-800 Occupational Health & Safety inquiries and maintaining accurate departmental records. Strong judgment and organizational skills will ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inquiries via the OHS service line

• Provide guidance to employers and general public

• Prepare, verify, and maintain records accurately

• Assist in coordinating daily office operations

• Compile reports and administrative documents as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade XI with four years of relevant experience

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management

• Ability to exercise judgment in policy application

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
