Project Management Full Time Dartmouth, NS

Ground Force is a growing landscape construction company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial outdoor projects. From site preparation and hardscaping to planting and finishing details, we take pride in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing landscape construction projects while ensuring safety, quality, timelines, and profitability. This role acts as the main point of contact between clients, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously from kickoff to completion
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding timelines, changes, and expectations
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Track costs, change orders, and project documentation
  • Resolve on‑site issues and provide leadership to field staff
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in landscape construction, civil construction, or related trades
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction practices (hardscape, grading, drainage, planting, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with scheduling, budgeting, and project management software
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CMT certification or equivalent experience is an asset but not required
