Demolition Worker

We're looking for motivated, reliable Demolition Labourers who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in working safely as part of a team who can start working immediately.

As a Demolition Labourer, you will perform a variety of demolition and general labour tasks on residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional job sites. Responsibilities include using hand tools such as pry bars, sledgehammers, box cutters, and other demolition equipment to remove interior and exterior walls, cladding, carpet, wood structures, insulation, concrete, soil, and other building materials. You will safely haul demolition debris to designated disposal bins, load and unload trucks, maintain clean and organized work sites, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety policies by wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established job site procedures.

You will also assist with other construction, demolition, and general labour duties as required.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions. Applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions while working effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in construction or demolition is considered an asset but is not required, as training will be provided to the right candidate.

Candidates must supply and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), including CSA-approved steel-toe work boots, a CSA-approved hard hat, a high-visibility safety vest, safety glasses, and cut-resistant gloves. A valid, in-person Fall Protection certification is required and must be presented prior to starting work.
