As a key member of the Healthy Communities Public Health Team, the Youth Health Centre Coordinator provides leadership and support to youth in the assigned school facility. This role focuses on youth engagement, health navigation, and promoting health equity among students. You will collaborate with various stakeholders including school staff, health care providers, and community partners to create a supportive environment for youth health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and informal assessments to youth

• Facilitate youth engagement and health programs

• Collaborate with school staff and community partners

• Champion health equity and safe youth support strategies

• Navigate complex scenarios and support decision-making

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree in relevant health care discipline

• Three years of experience working directly with youth

• Registration with a regulated health care discipline

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Critical assessment and trauma-informed support skills
