Venor is proud to partner with Fathom Studio in the search for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their collaborative team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. For more than 25 years, Fathom has built a distinctly interdisciplinary design practice bringing together architecture, landscape architecture, planning, urban design, graphic design, interpretive planning, and engineering under one roof. Rooted in Atlantic Canada, Fathom approaches projects through the lens of place—bringing different perspectives together to create thoughtful, meaningful spaces and communities.
What makes Fathom different is the opportunity to work beyond the boundaries of traditional architectural practice. Their studio brings designers, architects, planners, technologists, landscape architects, engineers, and other creative professionals together in a highly collaborative environment. For someone who enjoys great design but also cares deeply about how it gets built, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful voice in the process.
The Opportunity As Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play an important technical leadership role across Fathom's architectural portfolio, helping translate strong design ideas into coordinated, constructable solutions. Working closely with Project Architects, Principals, BIM leadership, consultants, and Fathom's broader interdisciplinary team, you will take the lead on complex Revit documentation, technical coordination, and quality while helping strengthen standards and mentor developing technologists.
This is an opportunity for an experienced technologist who wants to do more than produce drawings. You'll have the ability to influence how projects are delivered, solve complex technical challenges, share your expertise, and help shape best practices across the studio.
