Faculty Medical Lab Technology

Position: Full-time Faculty for Medical Lab Technology
Join the School of Health & Human Services at NSCC and lead the education of future Medical Lab Technologists in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are hiring for two full-time faculty members with specializations in Hematology and Histology.
These positions commence approximately August 17, 2026, and require a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience. Instructors will utilize various technologies and teaching methods to engage students effectively. Experience in adult education, while an asset, is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on instruction in Medical Lab Technology

• Create engaging educational experiences for students

• Maintain health and safety in classroom environments

• Update instructional practices with current industry standards

• Participate in curriculum development and committee work
Requirements:

• MLT diploma and current licensing required

• 5+ years in clinical lab settings

• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion

• Excellent communication and relational skills

• Open to adult education training
