Ensure excellence in emergency response training as a 911 Training Coordinator in Nova Scotia. Prepare 911 Call Takers for demanding roles in critical situations and enhance community safety.
In this impactful position within the Incident Management and 911 Branch, you will be responsible for the comprehensive training of 911 Call Takers. A Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience in training and program coordination are essential.
Experience with Enhanced 911 and the Next Generation 911 framework is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver classroom training and evaluations for Call Takers
• Implement continuous coaching and skill refinement
• Provide yearly refresher training courses
• Circulate updated training bulletins to maintain proficiency
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and five years experience in training
• Knowledge of Enhanced 911 and NG911
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to develop and implement training materials
Help shape effective emergency response teams in Nova Scotia by leading training for 911 Call Takers.
