Sheet Metal Worker Faculty Position

Join NSCC's Institute of Skilled Trades as a full-time faculty member, starting approximately September 2026. You will leverage your expertise to deliver practical training and classroom instruction to upcoming trades professionals. Ideal candidates should be equipped with a passion for education, strong technical skills, and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive training both theoretically and practically

• Support and mentor students entering the trades

• Promote health and safety in instructional settings

• Work collaboratively with other instructors

• Update curriculum and training methods to current standards

Requirements:

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal in Sheet Metal Work

• At least five years of related journeyperson experience

• Strong skill in welding, blueprint interpretation, and tool usage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
