Manufacturing Engineer at Ultra Maritime

Join Ultra Maritime as a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production processes for new and existing product lines. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance efficiency and output.
The Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on designing, monitoring, and improving manufacturing processes. You will work cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production Support. Your expertise will drive root cause analysis and streamline production workflows to achieve better lead times and reduced scrap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze process failures and conduct root cause assessments

• Develop and update work instructions for product builds

• Evaluate designs for production suitability and efficiency

• Design new manufacturing systems and layout plans

• Implement production jigs to enhance safety and efficiency
Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with extensive manufacturing experience

• Previous role as Manufacturing Engineer in an industrial setting

• Ability to obtain Canadian government security clearance

• Willingness to work overnight shifts with minimal supervision

• Strong experience in Lean or Six-Sigma methodologies
