Position: Civil Engineer for Municipal Projects
Step into an impactful role as an Intermediate Civil/Project Engineer with RVA in Halifax, specializing in municipal infrastructure. Your skills in design and project management will play a key role.
Focusing on municipal engineering, you will be responsible for preparing final designs and coordinating approvals for a variety of projects, including stormwater systems and culverts. You will also support contract documentation efforts, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Cultivating strong client relationships is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs for municipal civil engineering projects

• Coordinate the preparation of contract and tender documents

• Edit AutoCAD and Civil 3D designs efficiently

• Participate in inspections and provide contract support

• Undertake additional relevant responsibilities as needed
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• 4-14 years of municipal engineering experience

• Valid Nova Scotia Engineers designation

• Strong report writing and communication skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license
