Position: Estimator Role at Cherubini
Advance your estimating career with Cherubini, a leader in steel fabrication, as an Intermediate to Senior Estimator in Dartmouth, NS. You will play a crucial role in preparing precise cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
In this position, you will report directly to the Chief Estimator and collaborate with various internal teams and stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing specifications, developing project cost estimates, and submitting competitive bids. By identifying project risks and cost drivers, you'll significantly contribute to the success of bridge and structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings and specifications to define project scope

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and labor calculations

• Develop proposals and cost estimates for bidding

• Evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors

• Coordinate with project management and support teams
Requirements:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in steel or related industries

• Strong expertise in structural steel and heavy civil projects

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Construction Management

• Proficiency in bid preparation and cost analyses

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
