Position: Senior Structural Designer for Naval Projects
Babcock Canada is seeking a Senior Structural Designer focusing on marine projects in locations such as Ottawa, ON, Victoria, BC, or Halifax, NS. Engage in impactful design work within the naval industry.

This permanent role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience in structural design. You will lead the design process for integrating subsystems into existing platforms, perform technical evaluations, and ensure the compliance of outputs from junior team members. Your contributions will facilitate effective collaboration with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design innovative structural integrations for submarines

• Produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications

• Analyze and assess marine structure design impacts

• Verify compliance of junior designers' outputs

• Participate in developing tools and processes for efficiency

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in engineering technology

• Certification as AScT, CET, or PEng

• Minimum eight years of structural design experience

• Expertise in Solid Works and AutoCAD

• Must meet Canadian Secret Security Clearance criteria
