Mechanical Technician at GeoSpectrum

Geo Spectrum is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to assemble and test cutting-edge electro-mechanical components. Engage in hands-on work while contributing to product design and assembly process refinement.

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Technical Assembly and Technology and be pivotal in assembling transducer products and systems. Key responsibilities include interpreting technical documentation, conducting various tests, and maintaining compliance with quality standards. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret detailed technical documents and schematics

• Assemble and modify transducer products using workshop tools

• Conduct hydrostatic pressure and load testing as required

• Maintain thorough build and test documentation for quality assurance

• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams

Requirements:

• Formal technical training from a recognized institution

• Experience with underwater electro-mechanical devices

• Strong skills in reading technical documents

• Solution-oriented mindset for troubleshooting

• Occupational Health and Safety certification or ability to obtain
