Position: IV&V Specialist for River Class Destroyer
Become an IV&V Specialist with Weir Canada in Halifax, NS. This permanent, onsite role supports T&E expertise for the River Class Destroyer's Land-Based Test Capability.
In this full-time position, you will be pivotal in executing IV&V activities at the Hartlen Point facility. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluation and assurance activities, analyzing test results, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain high standards in testing. Your input will help guide decision-making throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all systems meet requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Verification and Validation of hardware and software systems

• Analyze test data for objective assessments and reporting

• Generate relevant IV&V plans and procedures

• Engage in high-level Test and Trials planning

• Assess integrity and suitability of test environments
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable military experience

• Minimum of 10 years Canadian residency for security clearance

• Familiarity with Systems Verification techniques

• Understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle

• Strong English communication skills
