Position: Hybrid Marine Surveyor with Thales
Pursue a Marine Surveyor position with Thales in Halifax, focusing on the Royal Canadian Navy’s Non-Combatant In-Service Support. This hybrid role entails project management and compliance oversight for naval vessels.

As a Marine Surveyor, your responsibilities will involve managing vessel inspections, preparing comprehensive survey reports, and collaborating with Thales teams. The role is vital in enhancing the efficiency of maintenance and repair processes while ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations. You’ll also contribute valuable insights to improve the Engineering and Certification Management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual condition surveys and inspections

• Develop and review technical documentation for repairs

• Aid in the planning of docking specifications

• Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders

• Identify and recommend enhancements for processes

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma in marine technology

• At least 8 years in the marine or offshore sector

• Experience with naval vessel inspections

• Knowledge of marine compliance regulations

• Strong report writing and communication skills
