Electrical Engineer in Training

Embark on your engineering journey with Stantec as an Electrical Engineer in Training in Dartmouth. In this full-time position, you will gain valuable experience in electrical design and project support.

As part of Stantec’s Buildings team, you will work closely with a Senior Engineer on various projects, from small to medium-sized endeavors. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed electrical designs, participating in project coordination, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare site and floor plans, diagrams, and schedules

• Engage in the development of electrical designs and models

• Support evaluation and selection of systems and products

• Participate in project coordination meetings

• Respond to contractor queries and review shop drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• EIT registration eligibility or Professional Engineer association

• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience

• Experience with tender documents and specifications preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
