Join the Buildings team at Stantec as an Electrical Engineer in Training located in Dartmouth, NS. This full-time position offers hands-on experience in electrical engineering and design.
In this role, you will work under a Senior Engineer, assisting on a variety of projects. Your tasks will include preparing technical documents, developing design models, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position emphasizes collaboration and sustainability, providing you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects that impact communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft electrical plans and schematics for projects
• Collaborate on the evaluation of electrical systems
• Support project specification preparation
• Attend project coordination discussions with the team
• Review contractor submissions for compliance
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Qualification for EIT or professional registration
• Minimum 1 year of pertinent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD helpful
• Strong organizational and communication skills
