Position: Mechanical Technologist for Public Projects

In this full-time position, you will prepare mechanical drawings and utilize software like Revit and AutoCAD to develop design documentation that aligns with client standards. Collaborating with engineers and coordinating various discipline designs are key aspects of this role. Your work will directly contribute to compliance with national codes and quality control in construction administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed mechanical drawings for building systems

• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for design documentation

• Assist with layout design and equipment specifications

• Coordinate efforts with multi-discipline teams

• Conduct site visits and contribute to quality reviews

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or relevant experience

• 3–6 years in mechanical design within a consulting environment

• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD

• Experience with federal government projects is an asset

• Valid driver’s license and a commitment to excellent project execution
