Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting:
Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks:
Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences.

Perform receptionist duties. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Hairstylist Licence. Hair styling techniques:
Blow drying. Iron waving/curling. Permanents. Roller setting. Hair colouring techniques:
Bleach. Dyes/tints. Frosting. Streaking/highlights. Screening questions:
Do you have experience working in this field?. Other:
Use of artificial intelligence. Employment terms options:
