Position: Halifax Automation Tester Contract Role
Join an innovative team as an Automation Tester in Halifax, where you’ll work on-site four days a week.

Your role will focus on creating automation scripts and executing tests efficiently.

This contract position emphasizes your ability to work with Python and Robot Framework for developing test automation. You will be responsible for identifying, logging, and managing defects while collaborating with various teams to ensure thorough test coverage in functional and integration testing. You will execute both automated and manual test cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automation test scripts using Python

• Carry out automated and manual testing as needed

• Log and track defects until resolution

• Work closely with development and QA to gather requirements

• Ensure high test coverage through regression and integration testing

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Python

• Proficient with Robot Framework

• Understanding of QA processes and testing concepts

• Experience with test case design tools

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
