Stantec seeks a Senior Oracle APEX and Database Administrator to elevate our enterprise systems. This position involves managing and optimizing Oracle databases and supporting APEX applications through precise administration and performance tuning. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage Oracle databases across various environments
• Execute database installations and perform essential upgrades
• Establish reliable backup and disaster recovery frameworks
• Monitor and enhance database performance proactively
• Manage APEX applications and support deployment processes
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX and ORDS
• Expertise in PL/SQL and performance troubleshooting
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments preferred
• Proven problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
