Yard Maintenance Technician

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking a reliable Yard Maintenance & Snow Removal Technician for its Dartmouth terminal. Manage snow removal, facility upkeep, and grounds maintenance throughout the year.

This full-time, year-round role emphasizes safety and efficiency in keeping the yard organized and clean. During winter, you will focus on snow and ice removal, while the warmer months involve general maintenance, lawn care, and pressure washing duties. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear snow from walkways and parking areas

• Apply de-icing materials as needed during winter

• Perform lawn care and yard maintenance in warmer months

• Operate pressure washers for trailer cleaning

• Assist shop team with basic maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• One year of relevant experience preferred

• Physically fit for 8–10 hour workdays

• Steel-toe work boots required

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Reliable transportation to the terminal
