System Support Technician with EMC

Take on the role of System Support Technician with Emergency Medical Care Inc. (EMC) to support essential fleet operations in Nova Scotia. Focus on vehicle maintenance and facility upkeep to ensure optimal service delivery.

Reporting to the Manager, Fleet & Physical Resources, this permanent position requires you to perform essential mechanical repairs, maintain ambulance base station operations, and ensure all vehicles are ready for deployment. Your work directly supports the efficient response to medical emergencies across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute light mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles

• Manage maintenance of facilities at base stations

• Keep vehicles stocked in line with fleet policies

• Conduct thorough cleaning and decontamination of vehicles

• Ensure ongoing cleanliness of the fleet center

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education required

• WHMIS Class 4 License necessary

• First Aid training is an asset

• Effective communication and decision-making skills

• Good overall health and physical dexterity
