Position: Lead Hand for Custom Fabrication
Take charge as the Lead Hand in a fabrication team specializing in custom overhead doors. Coordinate assembly, maintain inventory, and ensure high-quality output.

In this role, reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you'll interpret work orders, schedule activities, and guide team members. With a focus on fabricating doors, springs, and tracking orders, you'll also ensure strict inventory control. Your proactive mentoring and organizational skills will help streamline workflow and enhance team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret work orders and coordinate activities across teams

• Cut and assemble overhead door sections as required

• Maintain accurate inventory control for operational demands

• Organize workflow and resolve issues professionally

• Transport materials safely using a forklift

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fabrication

• Proficiency in reading technical job orders

• Welding experience and applicable safety procedures

• Strong computer skills in MS Office and WMS

• Forklift operator certification or willingness to learn
