Join the Production Engineering team to develop Manufacturing Instructions, design production tools, and ensure accuracy in Production Drawings. You will bring a strong understanding of shipbuilding methods and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements. Your passion for modern naval techniques and effective communication will be essential in bridging design and production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Manufacturing Instructions for installation sequences
• Design and draft production tools like jigs and fixtures
• Review Production Drawings for accuracy and constructability
• Communicate and approve Vendor Furnished Information
• Plan engineering test plans for new products
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent; P.Eng. preferred
• 3+ years in shipbuilding or heavy manufacturing
• Experience with ship systems and production functions
• Strong understanding of materials and regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical documentation
