Cherubini Metal Works is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/Fitter in Dartmouth, NS. This role focuses on structural steel and platework, emphasizing safety and quality in fabrication operations.

In your capacity as Metal Fabricator/Fitter, you will apply your hands-on experience while interpreting blueprints and determining necessary materials. Working at Cherubini means being part of a safety-oriented culture dedicated to continuous improvement in both processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints and determine required materials for fabricating metal

• Create patterns for metal cutting and construction

• Operate equipment such as shears and cutting torches

• Fit and weld metal sections into cohesive units

• Ensure quality assurance throughout the fabrication process

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of relevant fabrication experience

• CWB GMAW welding ticket is preferred

• Commitment to acquiring necessary welding certifications supported by the company

• Red Seal certification considered an asset
