Dartmouth General Hospital seeks a knowledgeable Specialty Registered Nurse to enhance its Emergency Department. You will be responsible for nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. With recent experience in emergency nursing, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure settings, you’ll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to both adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients

• Provide evidence-based interventions for acute health needs

• Triage patient care based on clinical protocols

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient coordination

• Monitor and respond to changes in patient clinical status

Requirements:

• Current RN license eligible in Nova Scotia

• Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience

• Emergency Department nursing experience required

• Current ACLS certification

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
