Quality Manager for Marine Instrumentation

Lead quality initiatives at a dynamic marine instrumentation business across multiple locations. Your mission involves evolving the quality function into a unified, data-driven model that enhances operational efficiency and customer focus.

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee the quality processes across business units located in Victoria, BC, Halifax, NS, and Plymouth, UK.

Your role will focus on designing the quality data ecosystem, ensuring timely non-conformance resolutions, and driving standardization across all BUs. Collaboration with executive leadership and engineering is essential to ensure successful implementation and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Severity 1 non-conformance resolutions

• Develop and maintain quality systems and data capture

• Standardize quality processes across all business units

• Facilitate monthly quality review meetings

• Drive cross-BU quality initiatives and projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality

• 7+ years in quality engineering or systems roles

• Experience with ISO 9001 QMS and NCR workflows

• Hands-on experience in a multi-site operational context

• ASQ CQE or Six Sigma certification preferred
