On‑Site

Under supervision, inspect machined components to ensure conformance with quality standards and engineered drawings.

Inspector

• High school diploma or general education degree; five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training/experience – Verifiable recent experience in machine shop inspection.
• Ability to comprehend and utilize ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions.
• Ability to use O.D and I.D. micrometers, calipers, height gauges and thread gauges.
• Ability to recognize, set‑up, and effectively use general and advanced measuring and test equipment.
• Ability to perform gage calibrations, computer operation and mathematical computation.
• Have advanced knowledge in use of monitoring and measuring equipment associated with a machine shop environment.
• SAP user experience is a plus.
