Our client, industry leader in power generation solutions, is seeking a Power Generation Territory Sales to join their team. As a Power Generation Territory Sales, you will be part of the sales department supporting client growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Power Generation Territory Sales
Location: Dartmouth, NS (Travel Required)
Pay Range: $53,000 base, plus commission
Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
What's the Job?
- Accountable for growing industry revenues within top industry account portfolios and driving the acquisition of large new accounts ($60K - $500K)
- Lead sales strategy and planning, including customer targeting, prospecting, follow-up, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
- Retain and expand business relationships with top accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions
- Source and prospect new clients through sales calls, including cold calls, lead follow-up, and referral engagement to increase sales in the assigned territory
- Develop proposals and quotes tailored to client needs, specifications, and product offerings, ensuring alignment with overall account strategy
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma (an asset)
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in account management and sales, with a track record of exceeding goals
- Strong relationship-building skills with decision-makers within existing accounts
- Ability to forecast, deliver, and adjust accounts to ensure success against contract terms
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and adherence to sales processes
