Security Officer AFIMAC

Position: Security Officer Contract with AFIMAC
Secure diverse environments as a Security Officer with AFIMAC in Nova Scotia. This contract role includes opportunities in crisis situations and requires availability for long shifts.

AFIMAC is looking for dedicated Security Officers to assist in critical projects throughout Nova Scotia. Candidates must exhibit previous security experience and be willing to travel on short notice for assignments lasting from 1 to 120 days. This position includes shifts covering both day and night hours, emphasizing the ability to handle high-pressure scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure security during organized protests and events

• Respond to and manage man-made crises effectively

• Provide oversight during labor disruptions

• Write detailed reports on incidents and observations

• Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

• Previous Security Guard experience highly preferred

• Ability to travel quickly within home province

• Comfortable working extended hours and shifts

• Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking

• Must be a Canadian resident eligible to work in Canada
