Delivery Driver Class 5; Courier

Our client, Purolator, is seeking a Delivery Driver/Courier to join their team in Dartmouth, NS. This is a permanent position with opportunity for growth within the company!

Shift: 30 hours/week - Flexibility required
Pay Rate: $21.84/hour

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
• Advise the unit manager when inspections fail

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
• No more than four (4) demerit points on Driver's Abstract
• Must successfully pass Defensive Driving and Courier Methods training
• Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
