JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be responsible for manifesting drivers and dispatching loads of freight with detail and accuracy while maintaining and exceeding metrics. Also, determine the most efficient delivery schedules, taking in various factors such as driver availability, size of load and trip length into consideration and other admin functions as required.

• Coordinates daily dispatch operations, including preparing driver manifests and scheduling deliveries and pickups
• Monitors routes in real time, communicates with drivers, and resolves service or scheduling issues
• Supports safety programs through meetings, compliance monitoring, and incident follow-ups
• Reviews performance data and reports (e.g., Idelic) to identify trends and improve operations

• Trade Certification or College Diploma
• 2 to 5 years' experience in dispatch
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Active listener with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn
• Excellent computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office.
