Position: Dispatch Support for Transportation Operations
Contribute to seamless transportation operations in Halifax as a Dispatch Support team member age in trip coordination, quote management, and operational logistics daily.

STC is seeking a reliable Dispatch Support professional to enhance daily operations in their Halifax office. This role will focus on communication flow, trip planning, and supporting the dispatch team. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send quotes for field and charter trips

• Schedule and confirm trips with clients and school boards

• Track and update dispatch logs and trip records

• Assist dispatch team with route coordination and driver communication

• Maintain organized trip documentation and internal communications

Requirements:

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to adapt in a unionized team environment

• Knowledge of Bus Planner software is a plus
