Flatbed Class 1 Driver Needed

Canada Cartage seeks dependable, safety-focused Flatbed Drivers to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. Deliver freight safely while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with all regulations.

As a Class 1 Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, completing timely deliveries, and operating flatbed equipment. Our ideal candidates have a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, and are experienced in securing loads and driving in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport freight across city routes

• Timely delivery and pickups in Dartmouth, NS

• Operate flatbed equipment according to regulations

• Secure freight properly using equipment like chains and straps

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license

• Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience

• Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract

• Knowledge of road safety regulations

• Strong customer service and communication skills
