Yard Worker and Forklift Driver Position

Step into a full-time role as a Yard Worker and Forklift Operator at the Dartmouth Distribution Centre with Gillfor Distribution. Focus on customer service and precise order assembly in this active position.

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, you will drive the forklift to manage building materials and assist customers in the yard. Strong organization skills and attention to detail will be crucial as you perform inventory checks and ensure warehouse tidiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently assemble customer orders for delivery

• Serve customers and organize the warehouse

• Operate the forklift for loading and unloading

• Conduct periodic inventory counts and checks

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Forklift certification with two years' experience

• Capability to lift 80 pounds when needed

• Prior experience in the lumber industry preferred

• Reliable and self-motivated in tasks
