Responsibilities:

As a member of the Operations Manager’s team, the Shipper helps by doing the following activities:

• Carries out the loading and unloading of items in trucks or other vehicles, ensuring the safety and good condition of the products;
• Examines and verifies items by comparing them with purchase orders and delivery slips, notes missing items and returns damaged items;
• Unwrap and distribute items to the appropriate storage locations;
• Optimal and safe use of available storage areas;
• Complies with the company's standards and procedures;
• Filled out the shipping slips as well as other documents required for shipping;
• Ensure the safety of the premises and notify the people concerned if certain products or equipment are unsafe or are deemed potentially dangerous, depending on the importance of the potential danger.

Requirements:

To perform well, you must:

• Know how to work in a team, bring a positive attitude and be solutions-oriented;
• Be hardworking, passionate and thrive in changing environments;
• Experience in a warehouse setting is considered an asset;
• Be able to lift weights has far as 50 lbs;
• Understand the basics regarding technology and computers.
