General Labourer NS

We are currently looking for a general labourer preferably experienced on the sit-down propane forklift for our client located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. A valid forklift license is not required.

7h30-16h00, monday to friday

$21.01

• Responsible for receiving, loading and unloading product, picking pipe yard orders, restocking pipe yard products and shipping with the use of a hand, mechanical truck or forklift (sit-down propane).
• Able to use RF Scanner to locate items in warehouse.
• Able to assist other departments if staff needed for basic tasks.
• Operate a forklift to place stock in warehouse .
• Able to assist team if assistance needed .
• Able to pick pipes and place them accordingly.

• Minimum 1 year in warehousing or distribution sector.
• Forklift license not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time sensitive orders.
• Good computer skills.
• Industry experience and/or product knowledge is an asset.
