Warehouse Associate

Looking for a warehouse job where you're not doing the exact same thing all day?

We are hiring 4 Warehouse Associates for a growing Dartmouth operation. These are direct hire opportunities, so you will be working directly with the company from day 1.

This is an active, hands-on warehouse associate position where you'll be trained across different areas of the operation. Your day may look different depending on what's happening in the facility.

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Days: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Pay: $19.50/hour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Order picking using a pick list
• Auditing completed orders to make sure the correct product and quantities were picked
• Working in shipping to verify orders, prepare packages, place them on skids, and wrap completed skids
• Working in receiving to verify incoming orders and assist with basic skid breakdown
• Moving between different areas of the warehouse based on business needs

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Day shift, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday
• Direct hire position, Contract with potential for long term
• Lots of walking and standing throughout the day
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• RF scanner and cart picking
• A variety of tasks throughout the week
• Picking is done from the first level, so there is no overhead picking
• Upbeat, team-culture environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• We're looking for people who are reliable, comfortable working in a busy warehouse, and don't mind staying active throughout their shift.
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset, especially experience with order picking, packaging, RF scanners, shipping, receiving, inventory, or auditing.
• You should be comfortable learning different areas of the operation and moving between tasks as business needs change.
