Distinct | North America – Pay Range

$95,000 – $115,000 per year. Base salary based on skills and experience. Discuss details with recruiter.

This Senior Accountant role is for someone who enjoys accounting, likes working with clients, and wants to build toward Manager without being buried in tax returns.

The firm is looking for a Senior, ideally one to two years from Manager, who wants broader exposure across accounting, advisory, and light tax.

You will sit in the CAAS function and work closely with clients on the accounting side of their business.

• Month‑end and ongoing accounting support
• Financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Management reporting and dashboards
• Help clients use their financials to make better decisions
• Partner with tax internally, without owning tax preparation

• Hybrid role with at least 3 days per week in the Dartmouth office
• Busy periods can reach around 55 hours; not tax‑driven
• Work is largely month‑to‑month, not seasonal

• Comfortable working directly with clients
• Interested in advisory‑style work
• Wants to grow into a Manager role over time
• Looking for stability and a firm that develops people properly
