Maintenance Technician

$25 - $30 per hour | Dartmouth, MA | On-site | Permanent

We are an established equipment manufacturer specializing in the production and assembly of heavy-duty equipment. Our manufacturing operation includes steel cutting, welding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, and shipping.

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities throughout a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, working with machinery, and supporting day-to-day production operations.

• Assist with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance to help minimize equipment downtime.
• Operate industrial steel-cutting saws and safely change saw blades when needed.
• Maintain and assist with repairs of forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Support welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly projects throughout the facility.
• Identify mechanical problems and assist with equipment repairs and adjustments.
• Perform general facility maintenance and upkeep as needed.
• Work alongside mechanics, welders, fabricators, and production personnel to keep operations running efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating and maintaining industrial equipment.
• Take on additional hands-on production and maintenance responsibilities as needed.
