We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations and sales targets.

What You'll Do

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Step in and support the sales floor and leadership team when needed
• Open and close the store as required, managing store keys responsibly
• Process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and communicate shortages or overages to management
• Understand store sales goals, KPIs such as UPT and ADT
• Assist with planogram updates and merchandising
• Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ
• Work with management to prevent theft and ensure store security
• Maintain organized stockroom and store cleanliness
• Contribute to developing a passionate, collaborative team
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
