General Foreman

Water Infrastructure Project | £9m Scheme

We're looking for an experienced General Foreman to take a key delivery role on a circa £9m reservoir improvement project.

This is for a strong, practical civils Foreman who can take control of the workforce, coordinate multiple work fronts and drive daily production safely and efficiently.

The Role

* Lead and supervise day-to-day site operations

* Manage direct labour, plant and subcontractors

* Coordinate multiple civils work fronts

* Plan labour, plant and materials against short-term programmes

* Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks

* Ensure RAMS and permits are understood and followed

* Monitor productivity and keep works moving to programme

* Coordinate closely with Site Engineers and the Project Manager.

* Maintain accurate daily records and site diaries

* Drive high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping

* Identify constraints early and resolve day-to-day delivery issues

You'll Need

* Strong General Foreman experience within civil engineering

* Ideally Water, reservoirs, pipelines, or heavy civils experience advantageous

* Proven experience managing direct work forces and subcontractors

* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and productivity

* Applicants muyst hold: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work
