Overview

Market Attendant needed in Darwen.

The rate is £13.26ph PAYE. This is a temporary role. Reference number: 000A 5409 / 1.

• Undertake cleaning, waste collection, labouring and other designated duties around the Market and Bus Station.
• Assist in security matters in the absence of or to assist designated security and their surrounding external concourses, including unlocking and locking up.
• Provide a first point of contact for customer or trader queries relating to the operation of the market.
• Sweep, mop and clean floors and surfaces; clean windows; clean public and trader toilets; operate mechanical scrubbing/sweeping machines, including sit-on machinery, and high pressure washers or steam cleaners to clean the Market & Bus Station.
