Salary: £55,285- £63,268 (nights), £19,40ph X 1.5 overtime (Days)

Shift: Monday Thursday 19 hrs Tuesday Friday 19 hrs rotating two weekly (nights) , Dayshift 40hrs / week Monday Friday 06 00 weekly rotation to 10 30 (half day Saturday AM optional). £19.40/hr x1.5 >40hrs

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, a leading UK dealership.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Job Responsibilities:

• You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You'll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
• You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:

• Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
• Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
• Valid Driving License Class 2
