Housing Concierge Officer

Essential Requirements

• Experience with in supported housing, homelessness services, housing support, youth work, community services, or similar settings
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs
• Confident managing challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
• Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records
• Flexible approach to working overnight shifts on a rota basis
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS required

Rotherwood Cares is currently recruiting for a Housing Concierge Officer on behalf of a valued client in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity to join a service supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and complex needs within temporary accommodation.

• Monitoring the safety and security of the building through CCTV and regular patrols
• Supporting residents with day to day enquiries and promoting a positive living environment
• Responding to incidents and conflict situations appropriately and professionally
• Completing accurate handovers and incident reports
• Preparing rooms for new residents and maintaining communal areas
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistent support across the service
