Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Admin to join our team at Jarrett Gordon Ford Davenport. The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience in accounting and be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks.
Qualifications- The ability to work independently using good judgment, and as a team player.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and work well with others.
- Pleasant telephone manner with an upbeat and friendly demeanor.
- Resourceful, self‑motivated with a sense of urgency and a strong work ethic.
- Adept at time management.
- Trustworthy, honest, respectful, and flexible.
- A desire to learn and advance in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be able to be entrusted with confidential information.
- Verify sales paperwork and post deals.
- Handle daily deposits.
- Send out vendor payments and customer invoices.
- Issue checks for various transactions.
- File/scan/copy.
- Assist the finance and sales departments.
- Interface with other departments to facilitate resolution of issues.
- Work on special projects for other departments at the approval of the Accounting Manager.
- Support other administrative staff within the company as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
