Overview
PROFESSIONAL TALENT DEVELOPMENT AGGREGATES program at Cemex U.S. is a 12-month Talent Development Program (TDP) designed to provide hands-on experience across Cemex’s Aggregates division. Participants rotate through various roles to gain insights and develop skills for a career at Cemex USA.
Job Responsibilities- Participate in a structured rotational program covering Mine Planning, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Production, Maintenance, and Data Management within the Aggregates division.
- Engage in project-based learning and collaborate with others to understand relationships between Cemex’s business lines, including Aggregates, Cement, Ready-Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain.
- Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to maintaining high safety standards across operations.
- Develop technical and transferable soft skills through hands-on work, training sessions, and mentorship; demonstrate increasing leadership responsibilities over time.
- Build a professional network across the company through interactions with peers, mentors, and leaders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing innovative ideas for the Aggregates operations.
- Educational Foundation: A recent bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Academic Performance: GPA of 2.5 or higher; preference for 3.0 or higher.
- Leadership Potential:
Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. - Communication Skills:
Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills. - Technical Proficiency:
Internship, co-op, or university project experience in related fields. - Flexibility:
Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed.
- Work Schedule:
Full-time, on-site with a 40-hour work week, typically Monday through Friday. - Environment:
Mixed office and fieldwork with varying environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
