Role you'll contribute

Under general direction, the Senior Manager Imaging Multiple Modality is responsible for managing the operations for Imaging modalities at all Florida Hospital and affiliates to assure smooth and efficient flow. The modalities and services include one or more of the following:
Diagnostic XR, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Ultrasound, Mammography or DXA, Procedural Imaging, or Imaging Nursing. Utilizes the hospital performance improvement process in reaching the goals of Imaging Services. Participates in and assists with meeting and maintaining all regulatory requirements. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with all referring physicians, hospital, and commercial agencies. Meets with customers, partners and team members to assure service levels are maintained (Rounding).

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills for age‑specific factors to perform safe and effective procedures on adult and geriatric patients.
  • Manages daily operations, including scheduling, morale, and personnel issues, and works with Radiologist leaders to update exam protocols.
  • Utilizes computer systems to maintain employee time and attendance records, research patient exams, and ensure proper charges and revenue capture.
  • Meets with vendors and provides equipment recommendation to campus directors regarding modalities within their expertise.
  • Participates in department satisfaction initiatives and utilizes patient service recovery resources when appropriate.
Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare related field OR 5 years of equivalent experience
  • 1 Leadership experience in imaging or related field.
  • 5 experience as a XR, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Mammography, DXA technologist or Sonographer, or Imaging Nurse
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Or
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Cert Board (NMTCB)
  • Or
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Or
  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • Or
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
